5 Days of Prayer and Fasting

March 29 – April 2

 

Note:

Join us in fasting and prayer during this Holy Week also known as Passion Week. We will join in corporate prayer on Monday-Thursday via teleconference at 9pm, Dial (515) 604-9094;883832809.

This year, Good Friday service will hold in-person and on Facebook Live at 7:30pm.           


Key Prayer Areas

Objective: For the realization of the blessings of Passion Week

Prayer Points:

  1. Thank and praise God for who He is – savior, provider, protector, healer, shalom, giver of life and power etc. (Ps 100:4; 1 Thess. 5:18; Ps 103:1-6)
  2. Thank God for doors He has opened and shut, and doors he is opening and shutting in our lives, (Revelation 3:7-8)
  3. Ask for forgiveness of sin, including the sin of unbelief (2 Chronicles 7:14; 1 John 1:7-10, Psalm 66:19)
  4. Pray to be filled, empowered, and led by the Spirit of God (Luke 1:35, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:14
  5. Pray for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth - in the nations, communities, our lives (Matt 6:10,33)
  6. Pray for a great harvest of lost souls… for people to come to God, for hearts and minds to be yielded to God (John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9
  7. Pray for spiritual awakening and revival throughout the world (Isaiah 2:2, Micah 4:1-5, Acts 2:1-12)
  8. Pray for peace and unity in our nation and in the world (Psalm 133, 2 Timothy 2:1-3, Psalm 29:11)
  9. Pray for God to execute justice for those that have been subject to injustice in our nation and the world (Amos 5:24)
  10. Pray for the revelation of God’s vision, divine revelation, and dreams for our lives (Habakkuk 2:2, Jeremiah 29:11, Joel 2:28)
  11. Pray for supernatural empowerment to fulfill God’s dreams for your life (Zechariah 4:6, Jeremiah 1:6-10, 17-19)
  12. Ask God to remove every “stone”, barrier and obstacle that serves as hinderance from living out God’s will for your life (John 11:39, Isaiah 45:1-3)
  13. Ask God, in this passion week, to activate His resurrection power in areas of your life where there seems to be no life. (John 11:25-26, John 10:10, Obadiah 1:17, Jeremiah 15:21)
  14. Pray for those struggling with sickness, unemployment, lack, marital conflict, etc. (Luke 4:18-19)
  15. Pray about specific issues in our nation and cities as the Spirit leads (Jeremiah 29:7, Romans 8:26, 1 Timothy 2:2)
  16. Pray for our children, that they be taught by God and for them to have great peace (Isaiah 54:13)
  17. Pray for those desiring to get married, to have children, and those with family issues – that Christ will show up and perform a miracle to the glory of God in their lives this week. (John 11:38-43
  18. Pray for our church that God will build up His church (Matthew 16:18)
  19. God to elevate, glorify and return favor to the Church and manifest His power in the church (Isaiah 2:2-3, Mark 16:17-18)
  20. Pray for pastors, ministers, and church leadership that they will be led by God to contend for the faith (Jude 3-4)
