Like most of America, we are deeply saddened and angered by the senseless murder of George Floyd. Since his May 25th death, we have seen peaceful protests and unrest throughout the nation and right here at home. These demonstrations are not only about the George Floyd tragedy, but about too many acts of violence committed against Black Americans that have gone without appropriate resolution. These demonstrations are also about addressing systemic racism and historic injustice.
At RockPoint Church, we exist to connect people with God, others and their God given destiny! We also recognize that to bring about peace, these complex issues must be addressed directly. This protest was birth from the burden of our very own sister, Lashiah Ramos and her desire to address these issues with the help of God, our churches and communities.
We are asking our RockPoint Church leadership, members, partners, and friends to join this peaceful protest for Love, Unity, Justice, and Peace this Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 10AM - 12pm at Swift-Cantrell Park, Kennesaw, GA
It is imperative that we at RockPoint Church show our support at this time.
If you would like to donate water, refreshments or cash towards the event, please let us know what you're bringing by sending an e-mail to email@example.com or donate using this link - https://www.therockpointchurch.org/give/
Please select "Other" for Fund option, and add the word "Protest" in the description section.

I’m so thankful I happened upon your group this morning and am interested in joining you in future events. Thank you for sharing the love of Jesus in this turbulent time and pointing us to the truth of His word that we are all image bearers of God, and should treat each other as such, w love and respect.
