PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS

  • Confess sin and ask for cleansing from all unrighteousness (Psalm 66:19; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Ps 24:3-4; 1 John 1:7-10)

 

PRAYER OF PRAISE AND EXHALTATION

  • Adore, praise, and hallow God’s name. (Matthew 6:9, Psalm 29:2, 1 Chronicles 16:29)
  • Thank God for everything He has done over the years (Ps 100:4; Ps 103:1-6)

PRAYER FOR OUR COMMUNITY, NATION AND WORLD

  • Pray for the people in your community to know Christ (Acts 16:30-31; Acts 4:12; John 5:4; Revelations 3:20)
  • Pray for the glory of God to cover the earth (Psalms 72:19; Habakkuk 2:14)
  • Pray for all children - for God’s blessing and protection over them from evil (Mark 10:13-16)
  • Pray for peace and blessing over our nation and cities (Jeremiah 29:7; Romans 8:26, 1 Timothy 2:2)
  • Pray for God to intervene and bring a halt to the Covid-19 pandemic and other pestilences (Psalm 68:19-20)
  • Pray for our government officials that they be led by the Spirit of God (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
  • Pray for your neighbors (Galatians 5:14; Hebrews 13:1-2; Mark 12:31)
  • Pray for those who are sick and struggling (Isaiah 53:4-3; Jeremiah 30:17; Jeremiah 33:6)
  • Pray for our students and for their schools (Philippians 1:6; Joshua 1:9; Romans 8:28; Philippians 4:9)
  • Pray for the unemployed (Genesis 8:22; Psalms 75:6)
  • Pray for the homeless and poor (Matthew 25:35, Matthew 6:26-30)
  • Pray for the children in foster care, orphans & the widows (James 1:27; Psalm 68:5; Deuteronomy 10:18)
  • Pray for those in prison and their family (Psalm 23:4; Psalm 145:18; Isaiah 41:10; John 10:10)
  • Pray for the marriages of people you know (1 Corinthians 16:14; 1 Peter 4:8; Ecclesiastics 4:9; Ephesians 5:25-33; Mark 10:9)
  • Pray for those trapped in human trafficking and in modern slavery around the nation and world at large (Psalm 82:4; Proverbs 31:8-9; Isaiah 58:6-7)

 

PRAYER FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS

  • Pray for the spirit of humility (Philippians 2:3; Proverbs 11:2; Romans 12:16; James 4:10; Proverbs 22:4; 1 Peter 5:6)
  • Pray for supernatural elevation (Psalm 75:6, 121:1)
  • Pray for divine revelation – for your spiritual eyes, ears, and hearts to fully comprehend the things God has for us (1 Corinthians 2:9-12, Hosea 4:6; Proverbs 29:18, Habakkuk 2:2)
  • Pray that God would supernaturally help you fulfill your destinies (Zechariah 4:5-7, Isaiah 45:1-6)
  • Pray for God’s favor, goodness, mercy, and compassion (Exodus 3:21; 33:19; Rom 9:15,18; Deuteronomy 13:17)
  • Ask God to arise on your behalf and deliver you from every form of disadvantage, slavery, and bondage. (Psalm 68, Mark 3:27)
  • Pray for God to place you (if you are single) and/or those who are single in your family in their own families in accordance with His will (Psalm 68:6; Ecclesiastes 3:11; Proverbs 3:5)
  • Pray for your marriage and the marriages of your family members (1 Corinthians 16:14; 1 Peter 4:8; Ecclesiastics 4;9; Ephesians 5:25-33; Mark 10:9)
  • Pray for healing, deliverance and immunity from sickness, lack, pain, wrong thinking, unhelpful habits, ungodly desires etc. (Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 91:2-4, Obadiah 1:17, Psalm 50:15, Jeremiah 15:21)
  • Pray for a radical restoration from losses, injustice, bondage, curse, error, and mistakes (Joel 2:25)
  • Pray for the realization of every blessing that the blood of Jesus affords us (1 Corinthians 11:25-26, Revelation 12:11).
  • Pray for God’s help for you and your families to possess your possessions (Obadiah 1:17, Genesis 22:17)


PRAYER FOR THE LOCAL CHURCH

  • Pray against every mountain, hill, power, and obstacles at work against our church (Matthew 16:18, Isaiah 2:2, Micah 4:1)
  • Pray for unity in the body of Christ (Psalm 133, Acts 2:1; 1:6,14)
  • Pray for sanctification by the truth of God’s word.  (John 17:17; 8:32)
  • Pray for a fresh outpour of the anointing/Spirit of God on upon our pastors, ministry leaders and church family (Joel 2:28, Acts 2:2-4)
  • Pray for God’s will to be done, and for His kingdom to come- in our lives, communities, and nation (Matt 6:10,33)
  • Pray for God to manifest His Power in our lives and make it evident that God is at work in our local churches (1 Corinthians 4:20, Joshua 3:7)
  • Pray for God to give us the treasures of darkness (unsaved people), and hidden riches (land, buildings, material resources, financial etc.) and make us exceedingly fruitful (Genesis 1:26-28, Isaiah 45:3, Genesis 13:14-15)
